For my 16th Birthday today I got the HTC Desire S..I must say it's awesome! I've never used an android phone before and since I know most of you have experience with one, which Apps are the best? Which ones should I install that are useful?

i prefer go sms pro to handcent, but both are way better than the stock messaging app.

and if you use a task killer, you really just don't get the concept of a linux based OS.
