Just to add some bands i discovered recently(well not so recently, but in this year (w/e)):

Staying in terms of black metal, we have Abyssos, Ad Inferna, Aeons Confer, Asgaroth, Bal-Sagoth, Luna ad Noctum, Mustan Kuun Lapset (this one is particulary great!), Sirius (without the full stop ), Sacramentum, Silencer(killer vocals), Nokturnal Mortum (check out their remake of Burzum's Journey to the Stars), Weltmacht, Woods of Ypres.

Ugh didnt seem that much at first...

Anyway, whoever hasnt heard Moonsorrow, Finntroll, Windir, Troll, Naglfar, Norther and so on...yet, would be best advised in doing so.

Keep in mind some of the lyrics I don't agree with if highly satanic, but the music itself is good... just good battle rush music...

Some death metal is good, but almost impossible to hear the lyrics..etc.. so can be extremely annoying. I like death metal which is somewhat clear... which is usually rare to find.

So I typically like Heavy Metal to Black Metal....

Iron Maiden is probably my favorite metal band of all time. Their lyrics are good and love how they sing about songs/stories of ancient history...

Old Style Metallica was good, but the new Metallica I just can't listen to it... it sucks.. I watched that St.Anger video.... and I just yawn... the vibes didn't jive with me, they lost it.


Also I don't just listen to METAL, I also like heavy industrial electronic or also like some RAVE music.
And Yes, I love some CLASSICAL.... like Beethoven: 9th Symphony.. BACH... MOZART...etc


I don't like HIP-HOP, RAP (VERY LITTLE), COUNTRY (Verylittle...only like stuff like Johny Cash), GIRLIE/BOY POP TRASH..etc..

Glad to see others like similiar music that I like....
