well firstly i'll address the haters

this isn't impressive compared to proper time lapse photography

i.e. ppl with either more skill than me or better equipment and specially since the people with the better equipment have way more skill than me it's a multiplying effect.

i kinda think the saturation of fantastic photography in the most amazing locations and big budget films using super expensive equipment has somewhat over raised the expectations of the public.

this impressed me alot since i sellotaped my phone to an old tripod and got this as a result ^_^

then i took the piss and batched processed the 8200 pics that make up the movie to make the sky purple
it is purple now but not quite right :P

How did you film this with your phone, if the original clip is much longer?

They're a bunch of pictures. It's basically like a fast-moving slideshow. No video, just a whole lotta pictures.

it's actualy over 8000 pictures taken 1 second apart then played at a framerate of 25 per second

so it's like 140 mins real time condensed into 5.5 min
