    When I was looking for a company to host the ventrillo I went with typefrag based on their reasonable rates and excellent customer service. The server that hosts the ventrillo is located in Washnington, the only other choice was in Seattle.

    I can save hundreds of dollars if I lock myself into a years subscription, which i would like to do. The sooner we get staff and the community on board the sooner I can ensure the ventrillo's long-term existance and keeping x amount of dollars in my wallet.

      I went to sleep last night and I left it on... I cranked my volume so if someone logged in I would hear.... I wake up to a ridiculously loud "Is anyone still here??" Scared the fuck out of me lololol

                  Change to TeamSpeak for linux users, Ventrilo is not Linux-Friendly, its creator doesnt believe in a linux version.

                            lots of staff said they would help me promote it. haven't got any serious help yet. i said i would provide the server, and i will keep it up for the next year regardless if it's used or not. it'd be cool if this thread was sticky'd so it doesn't get buried into obscurity. it would also make it easier for people to access the information needed to use the vent.
