There use to be a milk company that was quite prevalent in the GTA. I think it was called Reid's dairy, in fact I'm almost certain this company still exists. Anyways to make a long story short about fifteen years ago they started selling milk in individual bags, same with juice. The company closed some stores and that was the last time I've seen milk in individual bags on a wide scale. Bagged milk as in liters has existed forever in both chocolate and regular milk. It's not really a new thing.
