i like criticism/ideas but i've no clue so pinch of salt. also i did look through the site but only briefly i might have missed some of the stuff i'll suggest.

a website like this could take off but it will be very tough as there is a huge saturation of sites like this and they all rely heavely on wit so you need a good base. But with enough witty posts and the way things are with facebook/twitter/google+ if you have the wit it will get alot of views.

for one i wont be signing up cuase to be honest like the vast majority of the internet i'm inherently lazy and i hate signing up to things. Therefore you should also allow some anonymous comments from guest users to allow the site to grow and and to your wit base. if ppl keep coming back and want their comments to be recognised they will sign up.

allow comments to be easily sorted by roasted/failed/date etc ... automatically putting the top 3 roasted at the top etc...

be a bit funnier in the details, the monoply one & justen bieber was just a direct quote from wiki,thats cool to be factual but that was boring and could have been cut down to the bare essentials then some personal opinion to start of the roasting
