Yes you can see it was made for console (controlwise) but no; its doable.

It's really just the menus that I have a problem with and I'm just it's just because I'm not used to it. I've been doing better over the last hour of gameplay with navigating things. It's not nearly as bad as trying to play FIFA on a keyboard vs a gamepad. Combat and moving around works fine. Sometimes in menus they want you to click and sometimes they want you to use wasd/arrows so its more annoying than anything. Im sure console has its problems too. Also when I'm trying to level up my talents sometimes I can't for the life of me figure out which direction it wants me to push to get to the talent I want to see.
DTF, I thought the same thing when I first started. I hated how Oblivion scaled with you in terms of levels. I thought it took away the entire purpose of playing the game, since no matter how good you got everything would just be better to keep giving you the same challenge. And you can just walk backwards healing after you get hit for a while. It's easy I'm gonna do the nettlebane thing now I've just been running around clearing random dungeons.I'm just a middle-aged, middle-eastern camel herdin' man
I got a 2 bedroom cave here in North Afghanistan

All this coming from someone who thoroughly enjoyed oblivion, except the retarded skill leveling system. just started, for maybe an hour or two. Mouse/keyboard controls are pretty ridiculous. sometimes it won't let you click. you must scroll with wheel to change options or use keyboard. Takes a lot of getting used to. And for equip through favourite menu "e" equips the right hand, which is controlled by left mouse button; and right click AND left click equips the left hand, which is controlled by the right mouse button. very counter-intuitive.
Haven't gotten to level yet, but tried to look at the menu and had a hard time choosing different skills with "wasd"
However I'm a sucker for rpgs and i believe it'll still have a top notch story, so let's see how it goes.

PC version isn't that bad, only downside I see with it is the damn UI which is going to be almost equally bad on xbox. the gameplay seems alright, played way too much already (30+ hours) of it on steam.
and yet again, summoning is overpowered as fuck. period. dragons, easy as hell. dungeons, no problem. giant and mammoth camps? a joke. should've went archer or warrior for a challenge.

To come back on that difficulty thing. Looks like I might aswell go entirely without armor, mostly everything seems to kill me with just 1 blow on master. Fistfighting without healing it impossible too, against a woman and a bard?
Fun note: If you're outnumbered/overpowered outside, run towards a nearby group of giants. They'll help you out as long as you don't attack them, and boy do they help ^^Last edited by RednaZ; 11-14-2011, 05:45 AM."People fear what they can't understand, hate what they can't conquer."

money, this isn't a trash talk thread. if you want to make fun of nerds, start your own thread.
the rest of us are just here to talk about a game we enjoy. if that bothers you so much, you need to find something you enjoy that'll put your mind (and time) to better use.jasonofabitch loves!!!!
