itt you recommend me a graphics card

so the video card in my desktop is pretty much shot, gotta replace it asap.

My old one:
evga nvidea 8800GT, 512 MB 256-bit interface, GDDR3, 112 stream processors @ 600mhz
two DVI ports

Really, that's about all I need, price point is about $150 or less. I don't need the latest greatest as I don't game much. Just needs to have dual monitor capability and a decent max res. Been browsing on newegg but I would prefer to get a recommendation from someone that's actually it.

Has two displayports, two DVI and an HDMI, he says it runs pretty well, for a decent price.

I don't know too much else about statistics or whatever. Hope this helps.

Also remember Mushkin Chronos SSDs read 550 write at 515 MB/sec for the same price as other SSDs that are much slower. and use durable NAND

its like 120 bucks, i use it in my setup, 1 hdmi 2 dvi ports, i run GTAIV with max graphics (but thats the most recent game i have on my pc)

it works for me but i imagine if you have the extra money to spend, it'd probably be worth it. from what little reading i did when choosing the GTS 450, i gathered that gfx card prices tend to reflect significant differences when you travel up and down price ranges.

Jerome, that one looks pretty decent, especially for the money. I found out after posting this that the 8800GT that I bought from evga actually has a lifetime warranty, so I'm sending it in for RMA on Monday. We'll see what they send me in return, hopefully the GTS450 at least.
