i pretty much never have trouble finding anything.

i mostly use:

demonoid
eztv
soulseek (not torrents, but still great for music!)

and sometimes if i'm looking for something especially obscure, i'll resort to usenet.

i don't see why people are always looking for "the next best thing" when it comes to torrent sites. there's pretty damn good distribution across many of the non-invite sites (or the easier to get into invite sites).

what i meant was the governments succumbing to the media groups lobbying and passing dodgy ill written laws over the world.

megaupload was taken down and sopa didn't go through but more and more there is shit like this going on.

that collective group MPA (Motion Picture Association) about 6 months ago brought the UK's biggest internet service provider to court and made it block a website that was used for sharing movie links. It sets a precedent as previously the only websites blocked like this were child porn sites ... for me thats a big jump and the site blocked was a members only one
