Check out the game called Xpilot... I actually played this before, I played SS...
This is what they have....
-heatseeking missiles.. only home in if you thrust.
-smart missiles
-nuclear missiles
-implosion or explosions mines or missiles.
-you can do multi missiles.. but less damage.. have 4 small ones, instead of 1 big one.
-mines.. can throw or place mines
-torpedoes... like SS.. throw bombs... just straight ahead
-lasers (stun and blind)
-bullets..regular..like SS
^with above.. you can do combinations.. with these modifiers..
like...
smart nuclear imploding missile
smart=lock on a player... closest... and it will seek them...
-tractor beams.. pull/push
-Phaze... you can fly thru walls
-EMP Pulse.. can reprogram robot ships to chase after another player..heh..
-its funny in Xpilot when you lay a mine, it puts your name tag on it.h.eh.. in SS, I have no idea who layed the mine.
Check it out for your self... but be warned, this game suffers from major lag problems... probably cause it is written for UNIX...hmm
