Yah totally Miau, I think there somehow exists a musical dimension called Evita which is the truely accurate demonstration of Madonna's talent.

I was watching MTV the other day and I must say they have some fairly artsy music videos these days. I forget the artist AND the song, but there is one video where it just shows a person's feet going through the day. The person does all this bad stuff to these people and at a climax plumets to where everyone that he was doing the bad stuff to is being picked on by.

I love his lazy eye

Coldplay - The Scientist has an interesting concept to it as well, I'm not sure if it's an original idea towards music videos.

Not the best, but one of the funniest videos is The Foo Fighters Learn to Fly.

I've always liked the Ænima video from Tool. I would not say it is the best.. but it is high up on my list.

The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army has been mentioned here, and I do think that video is very unique and a candidate for one of the best. Certainly not number one, though.

Cassius - Sound of Violence is another candidate. The song isn't that great, but the video is VERY cool. You can view it here.

Coldplay's video for Trouble was good and it was sort of like Smashing Pumpkin's Tonight Tonight video. Kind of the old fashioned look to it.. Both are very good.

A good choice for stop-motion use would have to be Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer. That video.. is just great. I love that video. The dancing poultry gets me everytime.

But the best video ever? That's a hard decision... I'd have to say 50 cent - P.I.M.P.
