hey,its all dark at my house and for most of north eastern america no ss for me i guess. how can u be posting now you may be thinking? well im at my parents friends house in the town next to us. just hope the electricity comes on soon

That is odd.. My power went off and on and off.. Then when i went to work people were talking about other states have no power and they are in State Emergency Hope it comes back for you

i live in england and the other day, my power was flickering and then at 11:30pm everything went off and i couldnt turn anything back on. i smacked my toe on my phone socket because its right out of the wall, (there used to be a desk there but now it just sticks out). so i cant move my toe for about a week now :/

Yay biggest blackout in North American history, 50 million people without power. I was at work when it went out, luckily i take major highways most of the way home so i only 60 min instead of the usual 30 min. We finally got power back around 3 am or so .... it was really frusterating and just wierd having no power at night.

The whole damn province just ground to a halt and we still have a state of emergency. On the bright side i dont have to go into work.

Ahh nothing like working downtown... I was downtown Toronto when this happened. Had to walk all the way back up north to the suburbs. Luckily a co-worker drove me home, but we still had to walk around 1 1/2 hours to her place first lol. There were so many people, insane...

The funniest part was those random pedestrians who became traffic cops for a day. A lot of people were randomly directing traffic and people were listening. Funny thing is, they did a better job than the actual cops who were clueless and caused more traffic jams than good!

and i saw a shooting star! first time in my life. was leet.

My power went out somewhere around 4 and it came back at 4:34 am. Aparently what's going on is their shutting down everyone and fixing the problems then they'll put the system back up. I have about another 1-2 hours of power. I did find out that Wendys and Tim Hortons is open so is Dominon. So OMFG rush your cracker ass off and go get a coffee and a jr. bacon cheese burger.
