It's true, I'm a sucker for this band.... but is it true that the lead singer is gay? If so it kind of changes the whole meaning behind his lyrics :/ Some1 was explaining that he uses "lover" instead of she in his songs.... but i've heard him say she and her plenty of times. Maybe somebody can clarify this for me.

Well, I never heard about the lead singer of Dashboard Confessional being gay. And I doubt he is. His music/lyrics are all emo, but that does not show that he is gay. I just don't think he would be gay, nor am I totally sure.Comment

I don't understand how a singer's sexual preference can be a determining factor in whether you like their music or not. Lyrics are lyrics, a voice is a voice....
