B) Analogies and parables is how God tells His story. Get over it. You're never going to find a device which proves the spiritual. God intended it that way. That's also why He erased our memories or our pre-existence. But we'll get that memory back when we're done with this world. God put us in this life having only the core of our being; that deep desire in our heart that reveals who we really are. If it were possible for a person to see inside the hearts of others and make a video of it... this life on earth is that video of each person's heart.

As I said, I know God exists. I've met God. I know God as a very close and special friend. He makes Himself known to me and helps and comforts me when I need Him.
You guys that have never met Him and probably never will in this life will just have to wait for His return. Unless He has it in His plan for an appointed time before His return to reveal Himself to you.

God may very well exist but you don't have any proof he exists, if god does exist I will belief in him but their is no proof at this point to tell me that he's even real.

I think HeavenSent is a lackey of the devil by getting people pissed off at God and making people have more hate and evil in them and putting that hate on HeavenSent. Cops, there is proof God exists.

For a long time Science has disproved the theory of a higher being existing with the theories of evolution and random universe. However, recent discoveries have proven this may not be the case. Physicists are discovering an unexplainabl order to the universe. That the cosmos is far from being a sea of chaos, but more of an intricately tuned mechanism whose every molecule and every physical law seems to have been designed from they very first nanosecond of the big bang toward a single end---the creation of life.

Other discoveries are also being made in the medical fields. Credible doctors are recording the incredible healing power of prayer and psychologists are finding that religious faith is a powerful elixir for mental health.

This evidence demonstartes that faith today is not grounded in ignorance (HeavenSent is not a good example) but is where reason has been leading us all along.

Don't get me wrong, you can't reason your way to faith in God. Faith is a gift from God that is granted to those that believe in Him.

The thread is pretty warped. I respect religion, I respect everyones rights (Cival rights ect...) but I won't respect people who have no reguard for others opinions. Ignoring/evading questions and saying stuff like everyone who doesn't agree with me in the long run will some day burst in to flames. I took Heavensent's statements as something that mainstream religious people agree with and promote, but no religion which is responsible for wars/atrocities does not care for one group of people like only americans or only white people. If there is some higher being he/she or what ever sex it is, it wouldn't place boarders on people or on property like we do.

edit: But don't expect people to respect an opinion that will in the end remove the choice to have one.

Their is too many quintessence's to say that this was all an accident but what makes our creator our savior? I belief in a higher form of life but that does not mean it is my savior. Too much faith is put into Religion, maybe we should stop worrying about what's going on with our creator and worry about how much we're fucking up this world.

Just because the possibility is open doesn't mean it will be abused or over used. In Canada theres a "notwithstandclause" which most Canadians feel is unconstitutional but it has only been used once for a good reason. Have some trust and faith in your Government.
