I'm just poking, did you know that the word "Rapture" is no where in the bible?
Anyway ya, when i first replied, i failed to mention that the book Good Omens is obviously written from the point of view of a non-christian. Actually, 1st person omniscient, I think...the one where you see into a few people's heads.
You could say that the end-time in this book is how it COULD happen, it's got the 4-horsemen, falling fish...red sea, all that good stuff...but it also has spaceships, tibetan tunnels, and atlantis....but if you read the book, you'd understand that a bit more fully.
If you've ever seen "Dogma" Good Omens is kind of like that, it's got the Metatron (although he doesn't play as big of a role, and the movie probably got the metatron idea from the book) And from the book, you get the idea that the powers-that-be are not in full control..you get the idea, but they polish that out for you.
Trust me, it's a good read, the authors did their research, and if you don' tget anything at all...at least it's funny. And if it's not funny, you have a low-grade sense of humor, and you should watch more Monty Python.
That's usually called 3rd person omnicient, AE. If it's actually in 1st person and the different heads you see in are seperated by chapters it's called plain 1st person. If it's not seperated by anything, it's called Point of View Violations.
