Hi guys, I thought it would be good to have this somewhere. I feel as though in any community it should be brought up at the very least, and I feel as though this is more or less a community. Post and share your feelings or even your stories, or not, and just remember those who gave their lives for the Us and America, and those who died and their families.

PS. I know only roughly 50% of the people here are from America, but we are a community, and September 11this something that has affected us all in some way, shape, or form.

One year ago today, I woke from a pleasant slumber, just like any other day. It was 7:30 am Central Time, and I went through my normal routine of showering and breakfast before work. I left my home at 8:10 am, hopped in my car and started off to work. Just like any other day.

This turned out to be not just any other normal day in my life. This day, September 11, 2001 changed me forever. I turned on my radio in the middle of a local radio DJ reading news copy on the events unfolding in New York City. At that point I thought to myself how horrible it must have been for an airplane to accidentally crash into the World Trade Center. It was't but 5 minutes later that news came from Washington DC that an airplane had crashed into the Pentagon. A few minutes after that, we were told that a second airplane had crashed into the other World Trade Center tower.

At that time I felt true mortal fear for the first time in my life. Before my eyes, the very structure of protection I had come to know, toppled like a house of cards in a breeze. We, as Americans, had been attacked. At that time by unknown foes, later to be found out as al-Qaeda. Live before my very eyes, I watched people die, my fellow countrymen suffer, and my ideal of a safe home shattered. That day 3000 people lost their lives, 3000 people whose memory will stay with me forever.

Now, it is one year later. The world has again changed, pitting man against man in such futile efforts that are so typical of our human history. I will never forget what happened that day, as will many of you, regardless of your nationality or origin will ever forget such an event as this, or one that happened on your own soil.

What I ask next is simple, and not hard to understand or comply to. All of you out there, that may hold some type of rash judgment or need to baselessly insult the events of this day, remember that people died in this tragedy. People who may have had absolutely nothing to do with the events that provoked such a response. People who that morning awoke ksssing their husbands, wives, and children goodbye before they went off to their impending doom. People who died because of a fanatical belief that death is the only true way to resolve conflict.

Please refrain from the standard heartless and thoughtless attitude that has plagued these boards when it comes to a topic of serious conversation. Remember that this was a horrible event, and regardless of who you are, where your country is, and what your government may have done... you are still equally as vulnerable as we, and such horrors can occur to you at any time.

Remember the people. Remember the day. Remember we are all one people, and nothing will ever change that.

it's been 2 years now (obviously this was taken from the thread he made last year)

i just spent like 5 minues trying to think of something to say, but i can't.

I goto the local "magnet" school, i.e. hippie school. The only reason i go is because theres no real social status, everyone just mignles and the teachers are cool. Utopia school.

I watched CNN this morning. I'm not an american but i was silent throughout the entire broadcast because i felt it needed to be done. The words THE PUSHER spoke 1 year after the fact are closer to prefection than I can get, so I won't try. It's sad when anyones life is taken for granted, it is equally sad when thousands are outright murdered. More sad in my eyes however is the simple fact of how many peoples lives have changed as a direct result of 9/11. Change in life is neccesary, everybody changes all the time, but to have millions of americans, and countless others be afraid for there lives, not because of something they can control but because they are under direct attack from an enemy they cannot see, an enemy they cannot find, is truly sad. Yes, change is neccesary in life, but negative change is just that, negative. September 11th change millions in a very negative way and that upsets me to this day.

I'll never forget sitting there in front of the television dumbfounded with tears in my eyes, and then seeing Aaron Brown the Dimwit on top of a high building in NYC, the smoke from the twin towers painting the sky black behind him, blaming Canada for the attacks. Does anybody else remember that? That really pissed me off at the time. It REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY pissed me off. And then months after that when he became the "spokesperson" for CNN I was even MORE PISSED OFF. I stopped watching it. Fucking hate that ignorant little pussy. Ugh.

Should have known some dick would come through and post like this.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Have you seen destroys picture? Obviously he leads a very sad life and just likes to come and get a rise out of you. Just simply go up to the top right hand portion of your screen and put him on ignore. I hate how people on the internet say things they would never sya in real life. In real life destroy would have been beaten to death by now.
