Who was affected by the big hurricane? I lost power for 40 hours and had to be pulled away from a shotgun because I couldn't post on the forums. Not really, but it sucked not having power, I woke up this morning and it was on. Thankfully my family came away with no property damage or injury. Sorry if there's another thread, just merge them joants

yay for isabel!! i live in north jersey, and despite what the weather channel explained (how the hurricane was going to plow through north carolina, and that nj would barely get 20 mph winds), school was closed friday, woo! no power lost and not even 5 minutes worth of rain and they closed school! God must love me very much.
don't get me wrong, my sympathy goes out to those who suffered damage..but, u know, yay for my dumbfounded school system!there's more to life than meets the eye, but don't let that get you down.

Yeah, I didn’t go to class on Friday. I woke up, got dressed, and when I got outside Isabelle punched me in my face and stole my wallet. My english 213 teacher did want me to write a poem though, cuz i missed class - so here it is, a poem about Isabelle. Enjoy.
Rain on My Corner
The streets are covered with a mercury-like substance, such as a person’s tears.
Gazing around at all the people running for safety behind doors
Huddling below ceilings of stone and metal while a few brave souls hide
Behind their stretched plastic shields, walking, and defying imbalance
Quiet heartbeats race in unison, leaving behind the drama of a pulse.

Little wisps of life fell from the mournful skies;

it was more of a sunny and windy day for me in north jersey. a tree got knocked down because the idiot neighbour didnt cut it down from when half of it fell during hurricane Floyd. i lost power from that for about 8 hoursComment

Gusts probably up to 40mph, we lost power for about 36 hours, worst damage was just large trees falling across roads, and a limb from our diseased maple in the front yard. No classes for the two days.
I'm not sure where this happened, but a few people died from carbon monoxide poisoning from their generators....they must've had them inside the house...Ring one for the Darwin Awards!Ну вот...Comment

My power was out from Thursday at 9pm to Saturday at 1pm.My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.Comment
