Tigerex = Banned

im not saying you were wrong to ban dimboy, and im not saying you were right to ban, like i said i wasnt there so wont pass judgement. But what i am saying is, its kinda obvious if something is a question or not, its also kinda obvious if someone is using help for messing around. Its not like a cheater call for teamkilling whether its hard to judge if they are not very good in the ship, or intentionally teamkilling, help abuse seems pretty obvious, well at least to me.

Dimboy didn't ban Tigerex. I banned him. And I banned him with a very legit reason, and the reasons were seen in my above post.

When you're gonna ban someone Angel forget whatever hate or anything else you have for that person, even if they have abused ?help before. You're there to help and control the TW population and if you can't conduct yourself in a professional manner thewn give it up or at least tell Spam to revoke you BanG power. It was a stupid question but a valid one which shouldn't have gotten Tig banned.

First, I'd like to mention that Mr. Spam does not issue BanG to anyone, the Deans of staff, Weaver and YoMama!!!, do that job. Unless of course it's for an SMod, and in that case, usually PriitK or DoCk> do that.

Second, I don't even have BanG, I used RoboHelp's !ban command, which is what 95% of staff (<ER> and above) use for ?help and ?cheater abuse bans.

Third, I'm not at all a biased person, nor will I be. I don't hate Tigerex or anyone else in Trench Wars, or any other zone, and I never have, nor will I, ever. Tigerex knows this, as I agreed with him on a lot of the subjects he brought up, and had laughs on things he said. If I ever did hate any staff member, or even a player, it would be adam <ER> - But that hate has long past, as he doesn't bother me anymore and I don't bother him.

Fourth, if anything, myself and the rest of staff were more lenient towards Tigerex than anyone else that queries a help call of 'What the fuck!?' Or even a help/cheater call that was relatively abuse.

Fifth, in my opinion, and the opinion of all the staff members that were speaking in staff chat at the time did agree that the Trench Wars population, or even just the Trench Wars staff would be better off for a day with Tigerex banned, also as a warning to him to refrain from further ?help and ?cheater abuse.

All in all, I think that what I did was a correct action. You may not agree, but you're also not staff. You don't see all the help/cheater calls, the responses to PMs to stop abusing, breaking rules, and etc. Or all the abuse that we go through as staff. Trench Wars staff is probably the most lenient staff team on the SSC network, so give us a break.

Another note.. The call was stupid, and not valid because of the reason that he could have just simply explained to the person what 'Unf' meant. Since he was the one trying to explain to some girl what 'Unf' means, and expected a staff member to '!tell What is unf' if there was such a RoboHelp tell. Also, you should learn a few things about a person before you start assuming. I don't even know you Kolar, and you assume I'm biased. But, in all reality, you never knew.

heh Angel i jsut think you misunderstood my help call thats all, i forgive your actions as they have no real consequence but i do think that you made a mistake. If anything banning me will only provoke me to act against Tw staff more, if the ban was Legit then this wouldn't be the case.

I don't think you handled the situation correctly, thats all what my post was about. I don't know if you have a beef with Tigerex, but asking one question without intending on abusing or causing shit.... just seems a little stupid even for a day ban.

As for the question, yes it's stupid but what is wrong with typing :Tigerex:No. Doesn't seem to be hard to me, but then again i'm not staff.

But here's the problem i get from this...

Lazy people need bots, and that's the whole problem. The person has to use help again to know who they are talking to unless the ZH ER mod whatever actually pms them instead of using !tell.

But tiggy, you're a silly boy, 1 day ban is not too much, but ya don't use help unless it's something big and important, because staff lost it's sense of humour.

Lol got myself banned again last night just for the fuck of it, I was drunk and felt like getting in a fight so i acted how staff want me to act and mouthed off big time. Ya i definatly deserved this ban f0 sh0.

Note: Staff were more lenient with me for spamming ?help and actually abusing properly than they were with me asking real questions. r o f l
