I get the obvious link here, but thinks are completly different. Personally, I think Bush is an idiot, but comparing a democratically elected official and a non democratically elected official who was the second in command of a group that has massacred millions upon millions of men just isn't fair.


Even assumign Bush was a murderous tyrant, it's still not a fair comparisson. Bush has been responsible for a few thousands deaths. The Nazi party was responsible for upwards of 10+ Million INNOCENT victims not to mention the 30+ million killed or wounded on both sides who were trained military.

I just realized you were talking about comparing Bush to Goering, not Hitler. Regardless, the notion that Bush isn't so bad because he was "democratically elected" is kind of silly considering he was selected by a non-elected court (no one even knows if that was constitutional). The Nazi party *was* democratically elected into power. And even Hitler had more legimitacy than Bush does.

To those of you who say Bush is stupid - I agree, the guy is a total moron. He chokes on a pretzel, falls off a Segway, drops a dog, lies to his citizens, and loots them at the same time. Not to mention all of his idiotic sayings. The fact that some people in this country support him is a sad testament to the rampant ignorance in what may be the decline of America.
