i don't know what everybody's problem with her post was. i mean just because some of her posts are annoying and she can be a real cunt doesn't mean she can't strike on a coherent thought occasionally....since none of you are offering any counter-points as to why the war in iraq wasn't started mainly over oil, i'll argue that it was. all i'm seeing is warrantless claims about "iraqi liberation" and maybe "humyn rights abuses" which is a load of shit anyway. liberating iraqis is just a benefit bush gets from going to war. there are plenty of dictatorial states around the world and many of them are much MUCH more harsh than the hussein regime was. until the bush administration wages war on every single oppressive and dictatorial state i'll maintain the belief that this war was over US economy, hegemony, and politics. prove me wrong.


by the way, i read that democratic elections are being held to elect leaders of post-saddam iraq like next month or something. what the fuck is that??! these people aren't ready for a democracy. i think it's a pretty fucking arrogant and moronic mindset that the US government holds about how every single state needs and deserves a democracy or some shit. i'd also argue that a dictatorial iraqi state is 203948203948 times better than democratic iraq at least in the year 2003.

Look, the reason I reacted the way I did is because of this: I don't think anyone in their right mind thinks that Muslims on a whole are bad people. The way Telcat was making it out to be was ridiculous.

Bush is hardly one of my favorite people in the world, and he makes some horrible, god-awful decisions. However, to boil it all down to "Muslims have caused so much damage, and made us lose so much $$, they have to repay" is dumb as shit. Even the monkeys running my government aren't that fucking retarded. Yes, it was probably about oil, but who didn't see that one coming?

Next up: Brits declare war on icebergs. Tony Blair is quoted as saying "They caused so much damage to the Titanic, and made us lose so much $$, they have to repay." Bombing of the Ward Hunt Ice Shelf to begin immediately.
