Green Apples or Red Apples? WEIRD

What is the difference between red applese and green apples? I have yet to understand the difference and why someone could be so picky about buying a certain color. EXPALIN THAT.

i'm not an expert in the field of agrculture, so i may be wrong, but to my understanding green apples are not fully grown while red apples are. and due to their maturing process a younger apple (green) would taste different than an older one (red).

there's different types of apples, you know? classifying apples by colors isn't right because there's a few different kind of apples that are red (macintosh, red delicious, fuji)... fruit racist.

I'd link the much better guide from my home province of WASHINGTONIA, but their site is down.

Basically, not all apples are created equal, and you're in for a whole different fruit world if you switch apple colors.

Green apples > red apples , because green r nice and sour.

I have a red delicious apple tree in my backyard. Red delicious are a lot sweeter than green apples which are usually more tarty. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
