winamp3 rocks, there are 3 things that bother me with it though

1. uses too much resources
2. the equalizer slowly moves back to default after listening for a few days.
3. there is nowhere to tell you the full length of playlist time

It lags me up when playing continuum, so I use winamp2 most of the time..

wma? Ever heard of mp3s? ...besides WMA is made best played on WMP. And it being 2003, anything under 1ghz is considered ancient

You can custom install it by unchecking what you don't want... and only installing the player

I agree here, I stick with the base skin: it's a lot sharper and cleaner-looking than any winamp2 skin

Yeah, Winamp3 used too much ressources. I agree. Winamp5 seemed not so hungry.

1. takes longer to start up
2. plays movies slower - jumping to a specified point in an avi file takes a LOT longer than using, say, zoom player
3. lags up ss, especially when switching tracks
4. i seem to remember the minized versions of the playlist,control panel and equalizer not sticking together as nicely as it did with winamp2.
5. Tries to do far too much when all i want to do is play my mp3 files
