Whether you like it or not, a social heirarchy is ingrained into this game. There is popularity. Cool people, and worthless shits like you. It might be a "2d spaceship game", but your popularity at school is just a "3d paper and pencil game", and your work is a "3d sell shit to kids" game.

Its all games, its all heirarchies. And this "2d SpaceShip game" is more than you would think.

School and work are popularity based on regional fads.

To be popular on an INTERNATIONAL level, thats skill. You gotta impress the world. The computer-savvy faction, but hey, were the biggest group to date.
