A lot of that is pretty gender specific.

Or in some peoples' cases, trans-gendered. You know who I mean, right Adam?

yes, those were the days. they really were. just look:

YOU PROBABLY GREW UP IN THE LATE 90'S AND 2000's IF YOU DID THE FOLLOWING:

                            1. your parents made you wear oritection for every single joint and limb when you went out roller blading or biking (and now u have no balls cause your parents brainwashed u into thinking that getting a bruise or a scrape was actually a bad thing. i was PROUD of my scraped knees dammit!)

                            2. Played nintendo 64 all day instead of going out with 10 layers of protection on your bones.

                            3. liked crappy cartoons like the wild thornberries and that one life as told by whats her face (ginger now that i think of it) cartoon. my god do these cartoon suck. whatever happened to good old cartoons where the protagonist would beat the living shit out of the bad guy, like looney tunes and all that. also i like rocko's modern life, but nooooo fat cow jokes are no longer acceptable i guess. also we had cooler sitcoms and game shows on nickelodeon. i dont know what they show now, but i know it sucks. we had clarissa, hey dude, salute your shorts, pete and pete, double dare, all that, and guts just to name a few. the shows they got today dont even compare. i really related to the saturday morning cartoons one. i would get up at 6:00 am on saturdays to catch all the toons, they were good shit. and none of this anime stuff either.

yeah thats why i feel sorry for kids today where i live at least. what got me thinking about all this was sitting up in the lifegaurd chair and watching people go off the diving board and realizing how all this increased parent protection has scarred them. without a doubt if i have kids when im older im not gonna try to protect them from every little scrape, ill let them go out on their own and learn the correct way.
