Re: Ghosts and the paranormal
Dude, I bet if you were playing SS back then, you would be complaining about how the old man kept on unplugging your phone line, so every time you were about to score a 2 fers the damn thing got disconnected.

See. Only up until recently I had thought that there was another rented room in that apartment. I was only 4-5, I didnt know any better. I never asked why there were 2 OLD PEOPLE living in a very small empty room across from ours. I just went in and talked to them. The room was empty, except for the time when the old man would be rocking in a rocking chair and the old lady would be coming up and asking me about my new toys.
I once waved at the window when they were there looking at me swinging from the swingset in the park. My mom looked over and asked who I was waving at, but I didnt really once again think to ask why the fuck she asked that question.
Later on when I brought it up, my mother had to explain to me that there was never ANYONE living there, much less an old couple. She also said that some nights the record player in the livingroom would turn on, even though it was unplugged. Lights would turn on and off in the house, but she never really paid much mind, only now are we actually thinking about the possibility that we weren't alone in there.
