        I'm on a ska kick.

        The Specials - "Little Bitch"
Operation Ivy - "Room without a window"
        Op Ivy - "Sound System"
Jeffries Fan Club - "I must be Stupid" (kinda rare ill give it to you if need be)

        other shit:
Sunny Day Real Estate - "Grendel"
Sunny Day Real Estate - "The Rain Song"
        Velvet Underground - "Heroin"
Velvet Underground - "Who loves the Sun"
        Grade - "Impulse"
Grade - " Stolen Bikes ride Faster"
Cursive - "The Martyr" (GOOD SONG)
Cursive - "Art is Hard" (makes fun of emo)
        Cursive - "A Gentleman Caller"
        HIM - "Wicked Games"

goto mp3.com, search for "A newfound interest in Connecticut". wonderful.

i'm drawing a blank right now, but yeah.

operation ivy is Rancid from a long time ago. Their bassist or guitarist left the band to become a monk so they changed a lot of stuff.

i dont think 311 is racist cuz they had Shaq in one of their videos believe.

pj, try listening to a band called My Chemical Romance, im listening to them more and more and i got their cd. Really good stuff.

Totally second yung suggestion of RJD2. That guy is amazing to zone out to.

Also reccomend Aesop Rock "Daylight" and Atmosphere "Always Coming Back To You" for excellent songs to chill to.

I haven't heard of these last three - guessing from the trend of the other bands you suggested they're emo. I'll check them out.

That amazed me, I figured Interpol and The Postal service were locks for stuff you've already heard when genocidal mentioned them. Interpol even found some airplay on pallies radio in the past. Regardless both are worth checking out. I know of death cab for cutie, but have never listened to their stuff. I'd also recommend checking out Doves - The Last Broadcast.

In other news, I probably liked Pitchfork's previous top 100 better than this new one, although this one has some nice additions.

People add me to your names on Soulseek, Sleepy Weasel (correct capitalization required). Conc and bz are the only guys who I can actually share with thanks to my ridiculous college network, hopefully I'll be able to find a few other people that will work for me.

If you like metal at all, check out Mobius, if you can track anything of theirs down.
