Spot on Stabwound. Roguelikes are very addictive. I have been playing the one that started it all (Rogue) for a while.
Just one thing I wish to know though: Can the saved games be loaded, and if so how? It would annoy me if my time had been wasted...
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people look bright until you hear them speak.

Yeah, they sure can... not sure which version of Rogue you play but I believe the one I played you pressed something like Alt+S to save and quit, and when you came back you typed in the same character name and it reloaded your game.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.
play civ1, civ2 or any game made by bioware. that includes the baldurs gate games, icewind dales, neverwinter nights and the new sw: knights of the old republic

My roommate is playing through KOTOR right know. It looks pretty sweet. I'm thinking about picking up a copy of Deus Ex - The Invisible War. The first Deus Ex was kickass.

Do you mean the Deus Ex for PC or the one for PS2? Both were very good, and I heard Invisible War stole the show at E3. And FFXI is play to play but you get a few months free or somehting. Might not be worth it because if you're like me, you are broke as Hobo Bob ... my best friend.
