OK, I figured it out how. Press Shift+S to save, and to load the game you have to drag the .sav file onto the rogue.exe.
      Cool, ta very much

EDIT:been a while since I used the quote thingy...

I played Deus Ex on PC. DO NOT play Deus Ex - The Invisible War on PC! It's a horrific port of the XBox version. I'm running a 2.4GHz machine with a gig of ram and a Geforce4 Ti4600. Even at 640x480 there's so much slowdown and choppiness that the game's basically unplayable.

I'm way too fucking poor to pick up a pay2play title.

It's 1 month free (the first month) , and 13 bucks a month after that.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Midnight Club 2 blows NFS:Underground out of the water. I'm so glad I rented Underground, it's overhyped and the level of customization is not nearly as deep as they want you to believe.

I've been playing it, and while it's not so choppy on my machine even on 1280x1024, it is kinda boring.

All I can say after having finished the demo is that it feels like they are trying to be System Shock and Theif at the same time. Ultimately, both games were better at what they did, so I'm a little bored.

(But I like the Shadowrunnish setting)

I play roguelikes, but prefer Angband (www.thangorodrim.net) It has a high difficulty level though, just like ADOM. Not for people who give up easily.

Not out yet in the US, but made a big splash in Europe: Silent Storm. If you can get an import copy do so.

WWII setting with a future tech twist, there's one _major_ gameplay bug, but if you patch it the game is choice even if you don't like tac RPGs. The pathfinding is amazing, especially considering the destroyable terrain and rag-doll physics. I highly recommend the grenadier class for all yo rambo lovers, and the game handles stealth amazingly well too. check it out when you can.

Yay, that's only $143 the first year, plus the price of the game, itself..................................... cough.

I've heard the demo is complete ass for various reasons. Primarily, the selection of a piece of the game with little to no plot/story at all, which was one of the strongest points of the original Deus Ex. I haven't played it yet, myself, but I'll check it out after finals.

The storytelling comes off much the way it does in Dracula (the book, not the movie, may you burn in fucking hell, Francis GoddamnFord Coppola)
Lol. Yeah, System Shock 2 is the best. Scary as hell, but not cheesy horror scary. It gets in your head, and is a lot more intelligent. Plus, the replay value is quite good for a significantly story-driven game, with all the different kinds characters you can mold via the RPG elements of the game. I've found myself going back to it several times the past few years, since I first played it. Pity it didn't get the same attention in the stores as it did by the critics, much like the original.

Edit: Btw, like 70-80% of all my games are RTS, so when I recommend other than RTS games, you should listen.

I notice, Shade, you mentioned Thief as well. You wouldnt happen to be or have been on the TTLG forums, would you?

Edit: I hate three minute edit times.
