Time Travel to the past is impossible.

If it were possible however, we wouldn't figure it out in 30 years.

Also, why was he able to bring his time machine with him to the past? If he couldn't avoid it...how come nothing else like the entire building wasn't brought with it?

Also, it's easy for someone that's only been known online to "disappear" and "never be heard from again". It'd be harder for him to do the same if he became a public figure.

Such a pile of made up bullshit. If there is a war...in ~10 years...that will include weapons of mass destruction...with radioactive leftovers....and will result in HALF OF CURRENT HUMAN POPULATION ON EARTH dying....NO...FUCKING...WAY...that only...15 years later...everything will be FINE AGAIN !!

That being said, wouldn't time-traveling to past mean that there is a parallell time universe for each second of everyones life connected with a one crossing "marker" and that they're just aligned in such way that, right now, is now in this time universe, but if you'd travel on that "marker" across to next time universe you could end up in some other past/future time where things go their own way. And because time has no end, there is infinte+1 number of parallell time universes that ALL strive to reach SAME point, using SAME way, only a different time-relationship.
AAND that whatever that guy said and did here wouldn't do shit for him in his time universe, wouldn't change a bit because he is only affecting possible future in our own world...not his ?

People have been "prophesying" that a massive war will take place near the end of the world...I'm sure many people thought that that war was World War II. But looking at time through the eyes of God, maybe WW2 was that war.

Either way, a massive war prophesy is nothing new or suprising, so don't act like it is.

I am as much a skeptic as anyone else here, but there are certain things that stands out as likely. The problem is, he is a time traveler and not a historian, so the information that he gives is very broad. Also, a majority of the questions has been a waste because they were too specific.

- There's something eerie about how he answered the questions about war. According to him, there will be a sort of civil war that starts in 2004... I keep thinking about how this might happen if Bush won the presidency again with discretion, and made other questionable decisions.

- The office of the President... again, very eerie - it was split into an office of 5 because the power of one president may have caused the wars.

- "our only dream is to clean it up and give it back to those still able to have children." - the word "able" plays a large part of how fertility, is a problem because of nuclear fallout. He furthers this with how "It is very difficult to have children in 2036 for environmental reasons."

- He has knowledge of the mad cow disease, before it happened. He had knowlege of the middle east, before it happened. John seems to be willing to divulge information about larger, more global subjects than smaller, more personal tidbits. (However, global subjects are more vague - and more easier to fabricate)

- "No, Jesus did not come back." pfffft I could've told you that.

- "Canadians in 2036 are some of the most efficient, ruthless
and dangerous people I know." So the canucks HAVE been angry all this time!

And according to what he said he would be 5 years old right now, and knowing his supposed name you could see if a five year old by that name acctually exists. (Of course if it was a hoax he could have found someone who at the time was 2 that matched his story)
