That game I was working on

Ok, so for those of you that follow these forums you'll remember I was asking for some help and such on a computer game I was working on as part of a CS class I"m in. About 20 people in the class, split up in groups of about 1-4 to work on making games for the semester.

Well anyway now that the semester is done we're finished and I know some people expressed interest in playing it, so here goes.

Click on downloads (in the bar at the top) and then download the zip. Extract it and run the .exe to play.

There aren't any instructions included in the game, oops forgot about that. The basic idea is to use spacebar to confirm choices, escape to cancel choices and during battles you can use the mouse to move around and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. All the other stuff is pretty standard RPG fare, guys who are reading a forum about a computer game I trust will be able to figure it out. It's a tactical RPG similar to Final Fantasy Tactics.

I had no problem with the character at all.
I love the music for the game and the battles are pretty fun. I got defeated when I had to battle the white cloacked boys I have to started all over again. Great game Sleepy.

It's probably because of the version of directX you are using is different from what the game uses... but I don't know what the game uses. Weird, that has never happened on any computer at Cornell.

The invisible character thing happened to me once when I was messing around with the map files... don't know what to say to fix it though.

I don't really know any of the graphics stuff.

It all runs smooth and stuff.. but the game looks like the exact same thing as Disgaea.. :P Different characters, but all in all good job. Looking forward to the full version

This was made in 1 semester by the way, so uh it kind of is the full version unless we plan on continuing on it next semester (I'm personally going to start working on a new game with my roommates, but the other 2 guys might continue with this one).

heh, no sorry. Saving and all that stuff didn't get implemented.

mleh, i would buy it if you did 3 things:

removed walls infront of characters, so i could see the floor

added a saving feature

add descriptions of weapons and stuff
