    1. I feel he is the best Democratic candidate.

    2. I'm not voting for Bush, so it helps him get out of office.

    3. If this was an attack on Dean...try a bit harder next time.

it wasn't an attack on dean, but upon your advice, i'll be less subtle with you.

i was saying that assuming dean had a snowball's chance in hell at becoming the democratic nominee, his nomination would weaken the chances of an administration change.

the thing i like best about dean is that he represents the dissenting voter. he's anti-establishment. he says whatever's on his mind, and doesn't worry if it happens to stir up the pot. however, that's not what most americans are ready for. not all america, but the slight majority of america is going through a period of neo-puritanism right now. they're not ready for someone with progressive politics.

Last time I checked he was running a solid second in the primaries behind Kerry.

Dissenting voter I am. If the Libertarians could take Bush out of office, that's where my money would be right now. Sadly I have to go with the Dems. He hasn't gotten in to any big problems with his style of speech unlike Kerry's hypocrisy.

Enough of America is going through an almost "Christian Awakening" to make a difference in the election. It's a sad day (meaning nearly every election in the 20th Century) when religion matters more than the candidate's platforms. I think his progressive ideas and charisma need to be tuned down a notch then he'll be the frontrunner and the best opposition the Dems can put up against Bush.

according to the latest cnn.com reports, Kerry leads Dean by 330 delegates. Dean leads Edwards by less than 20 delegates. i believe the phrase "solid second" is a misrepresentation of Dean's actual position in the democratic nomination race.

btw, i'm not trying to personally attack you, or your political beliefs. I hope that much is self-evident.

Dead Kennedys are alright. My favorite old punk band is The Dropkick Murphys.

Edit: I understand you weren't trying to attack me or my beliefs, I was just trying to clear some things up. Plus I said "The last time I checked", I wasn't sure if he still had a solid second. Still plenty of states left to gain momentum.
