That's a giant pile of wank. I know plenty of people who've struck off on their own and made out just fine. And besides, it's not like teens haven't been getting slapped with the harsh reality of the "real world" for generations now. Everyone goes through it. It's simply a rite of passage into adulthood.jasonofabitch loves!!!!

that's a cool article. although i disagree with how they reach a lot of their costs, i like that it mentions many details that become overlooked.
parents should realize that teaching their kids about personal finances (especially their credit) is just as important as teaching them about sex and drugs. and before you say, "bullshit, you can't die from abusing your credit like you can die from HIV or abusing drugs", pause and think. if you abuse your credit, you might not die, but you will definitely suffer.
unless you have friends or family with good credit to co-sign for you, you are guaranteed to miss out on countless opportunities that many americans view as the cornerstones of success. If you like to have nice things like a sweet ride, nice place to live, and fine material possesions to attract smoking hot chicks...etc, poor credit will cause your quality of life to suffer dramatically.
