Um...isnt there a forum ignore feature? I've heard people talk about it before...so if there is...why not do that instead of whining for others to do stuff (if there isnt, then disregard this post :P)

Because I shouldn't have to, same in game....If someone spams, you don't get told to ignore, they get banned.

Same should happen here, we have say 3,000 members. 1 member is being annoying, 3,000 people have to ignore them, why not just ban?

Because....if you banned intri.....youd have to ban ppl like Zeta-Burn and Abrasions (sorry abrasions, not trying to be mean) for their bickering...and i think thats just as bad as typing :|...

Just because someone posts ":|" a lot, doesnt give you the right to "spam" tag it. And for the ingame part, what about macros? Lets ban everyone who uses macros because thats spam.

Forum staff ultimately have the responsibility of defining what spam is here, and others have been warned for similar stuff.

Not to be confrontational...but technically spam is something sent to a lot of addresses (or threads in this case)...so as long as he isnt posting it to every thread...and only a few (which he is doing lately) it shouldnt be considered spam.

and again...if you dont like it, ignore him or skip his post ffs...just stop complaining...

On these forums the spam definition is pretty loose, but lets take a crack at defining it for you anal retentives.

1.) Repeated posting without any content. (intriquality's posts fell in this category)
2.) Multiple off-topic thread openings. ("I LOVE KISS!" in SSCU TW, etc)
3.) Spencer's Premium A-1 Meat
4.) Multiple postings in one thread without any replies.
5.) Arguing with yourself.
6.) Anything I didn't mention that you've been warned for spam for.

You can get banned on the forums... I was, I was spamming the forums I mean I posted something in every subarena so that last posted by: would be by:jappeuuuh at every subarena, but some forum mod noticed and ban me. I was banned for like 3-4 weeks, fortunatly there was the upgrade from VB2-bulleting to VB3-Bulleting cuz else I would still be banned

The only reason im posting like mad today is 1) I had no homework during 5ht perido so i needed something to do. and 2) We came down to the library AGAIN for 6th period..and since i finished the work for that class...not a thing to do...and no game palying...so why not post on forums eh? x.x
