But, why isn't there a £ sign? , It's annoying having to use $ or type out "pounds". Surely there is an ascii code for £ as it is a standard feature of keyboards (In UK anyway)

ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange,
and Americans don't use pounds. However, later on, as more was
required of the system the £ sign and many others were added to the
Extended ASCII charset. In the most popular extended set, the £
sign is character number 156. If you can transmit the extended sets
through Continuum you'd just hafta figure out how to do so.
Basically the way you do it, and I couldn't get it to work in Continuum,
is hit your alt key, and punch in the decimal ascii code of whatever
character you want on the numeric keypad, and it'll put that in.
Just look up ascii codes on google for a list.

I think Fins shouldnt be allowed to type in Finish words cuz i cant understand them. I feel this way because i know they talk shit about me with all thier dots and angry letters. What TK is saying is that the world doesn't revolve around the dutch and finnish languages. Don't get all up and hyper about it. Obviously you don't speak chinese or any other asian language so you automatically reject it, just because YOU don't understand it. I know good handfuls of people who would find this useful. The TW servers were in Finland until the last year or so. Therefore, TW was in a Finnish "place or w/e". If you want Chinese people to go speak Chinese in Chinese places, it only stands that back then we should have only spoken Finnish then and anyone who wanted to speak English should have gone to an English "place or w/e". I'm just following your logic here, and if you find this silly, just imagine how silly it was for us the first time around, hearing it from you.
