The deans of staff do not need to reply back. What regularly happens is:
1.You email
2.You don't post crap on forums
3. If you want, take it up in private

Taking personal fights with a staff member is only going to get you banned from the forums. Don't look at this as abuse or anything but really, Wadi can do what he wants within the rules of the board and i'm sure you've breached something so far with your worthless posts and threads. You're not only not accomplishing anything but putting your ability to contribute or have a say in the community in jeperty and wasting forum and tw's staffs time.

Conclusion, If you want something DONE do it in private. Now put it to rest. Your friend will probably not get unbanned and arguing with random people on here isn't going to make a difference nor is aruguing over the moral or ethical situations here.

this thread was created to give some attention to what was being done to mudvayn,
He emaied, he msged people, he tried pms he was IGNORED, he got "your banned deal with it",
all he wanted was an explanation, after many posts and talking to staff members he was finnaly sent an email.
this thread wasnt about who kisses staffs ass,who wants to be staff,or anything else it was to get something done and get him an explanation,i didnt ask you for any input, or ask you for advice because all those channels were tried, i followed the rules as well as he did and nothing was done,
it took me doing this on forum to get him an explanation, so it was worth it.
i could care less who is what on this forum, you can threaten me all you want, but dont lie about the facts

And in case you haven't noticed, I started out trying to help you. If you think that I did that just to kiss up to staff, then I've got a wake up call for you. I couldn't give a damn about that. If I wanted to be on staff, I would have made those intentions known to people who could make that happen. Fact is, that accusation is so far off-base that it's laughable to those who know me. You're right, this thread isn't about sucking up. Of course, I'm not the one who brought that up, am I?

I don't even know where you got that I was threatening you, as I'm sure I would remember doing something like that. You didn't ask for my input, that's true, but if you start a thread in a community forum, don't expect only people who agree with you to post.

Another problem with threads like this is that anyone who says anything that is construed as being "on staff's side", they get shouted down for sucking up to get on staff. At the same time, anyone can agree with the complaint and bring up their own situations (and in most of those cases, staff actually did things legit, but that doesn't stop yahoos from joining in).

I don't agree with what staff does and I'm not here to pander to their wants and needs. In 6 years I haven't been given any kind of regonition and have only been met with hatred by most of the mods. I however can recognize the differece between personal and professional states in people, it's a few idiots who can't seems to understand why they don't like a guy on a 2d space ship game. Now this was about your friend who got banned for tking when he was told to stop. This thread is a pretty freaking good example why this should be done in private.


When a staff member "threateneds"/warns you, maybe you should look at it like this and i'll make it really simple:
Staff -Owns and operates the zone
Staff -Doesn't have a constitution and they don't have any rules protecting your right to play subspace!
you, the player -Can be banned at any time for any reasons the powers believe warrants a ban


^That pretty much takes care of the rest, I could expalin more and maybe apply it to your friends situation but i'm getting tired of typing. This forum isn't here to be used in the manner you said got the attention you wanted. If your friend followed offical chanels (which means not posting this on public foruims and fighting personally with specific staff members) then he could have done more. Don't post/represent/anything for your friend again, it will only be looked down upon by the staffers handling your situation and won't get the attention you seek. Show some respect for staff, their systems of process and people playing this game and maybe someone will care about your stupid friend who couldn't learn not to hit the yellow ships.
