keep the fc's in elim. If you want to get a good rec in elim, doing it mk style is easily the best way. Well I think it's better to use a variant of mk's style though, shoot while you are being "aggressive" towards a player and pick up a green a split second later and shoot again. If you have any aim, 90% of them time you get them with 1 of the 2 shots. I love getting 3 fc's in a row in elim and baffling other players with rapid shots.

Well... FCs don't seem to be the prob, it's MetalKid's ability to recharge. I know MK doesn't shift around much. He is a CTRL masher and so he increases his number of shots and so increasing the probability that one of his shots hits. Combined with a damn good aim (also in radar) he can kill many guys. And so many people get jelous (not moot) or something... Anyways... MK appears to have a faster recharge, but I think its just his way of playing.

An effective way of fighting MK is to rush him. But beware of his radar lures... He will shoot, run back to grab another green just outside of radar and shoot, anticipating that you are running after him. Even in one of his posts, MK says that he doesn't like rushing...

HAHA after reading this over it looks like I "know" MK, but I really don't. I just want to feel cool so I am writing about techniques to beat him instead of the posts topic. I am cool. my mom says so....

Make em all FC and make a time limit for how soon the next bullet can be fired (to maybe about the same as it takes to fire 2 bullets from full energy to 0 energy).

True. They could fix this whole deal if they made it so you can only fire bullets every so often. I know they can change that because look at the firing rates between spiders and terrs, they are quite different. It would have to be set to how long it would take to get from 0 energy to enuf energy to fire.
