Heey, I was wondering, what's the difference between ZH's and ER's. Last time I see more ZH's hosting games, and ER's helping people. Why is it not that only ZH's can 'help in zones' and ER's be 'referees in events' ??

A ZH's main job in TW is to help people in the zone. They can host a few events (Hockey, Racing, Turretwarz etc.) which can gain them experience in hosting for when they get promoted to ER.

A ER's main job is to host and to referee league matches. If a help call is made and they know the answer then there's nothing to stop them from answering, especially if the ZHs online are busy or don't know the answer.

So basically:
ZHs are there to help but can host a few things
ERs are there to host but can help if they want.

(I know ZHs must answer a certain number of help calls but I don't know if ERs must also answer a certain number.)

From lowest position to higher.. and their main responsibility:
1. ZH = Zone Helper....Answers ?help calls.
2. ER = Event Referee..Hosts games.
3. Mod = Moderator.....Answers ?cheater calls.

Last time I see more ZH's hosting games, and ER's helping people.

Each ZH is only allowed power to host in 1-2 arenas. (ERs can host in any arena). You'll find ZHs hosting in their allowed arenas because they are training to be the ERs. You may even find some ERs answering ?cheater calls as they are training to be a mod. If you see an ER helping someone, they're either bored, very helpful or no ZHs are online.

The 'Zone' referred to in 'ZH' is SSCU Trench Wars. That's why they are called a Zone Helper. Events are just games, e.g. hockey, deathmatch. And we need referees for that.. that's why we have Event Referees.

They tend to let ZH's host the lesser events because it is a way to weed out the good ones form the bad ones. The ZH's that do the best job in hosting things like .?go race ect. Will be the ones most likely to move up to <ER>. <ER>'s tend to take the bigger events and host alot of TWL.

I thought ZHs could only host events that did not contain using a bot..so all events that don't need bots ZHs can host, not sure though..

Sometimes a ER bring a bot into a zhs game to help with lagouts. Most of the time zhs don't use bots.. It gets them warmed up for BIG hosted games as ERs do. Recently staff are letting zhs host Basing events and etc.. Swimkid has been hosting alot

They also help with wbduel. Swimkid <zh> is who I see doing this alot.
