Hello there, fellow Trenchers. I'm here to tell you that for nine
straight days (7/5-7/13), a 1v1 warbird tournament will be hosted at
6pm EST every night (that's right, every night). The two people in
the final match of each tournament will be invited to participate in
the 1st Annual Organized Warbird Tournament commencing on 7/18 (save
for the two final players in the tournament on the 9th day, they will
be substitutes in case the original 16 can't show for the final
tournament). So, everyone has a chance to participate and claim the
title of the best warbird dueler in the zone.
Now for some rules:
1> 10 deaths per round, spawns will be handled accordingly (a player
is given 6 seconds to recover from a death). If a player spawns more
than three times in one match, he will be disqualified.
2> No substitutions whatsoever, if a player leaves before the finals,
the player who was to be facing him advances to the next round.
3> 3 lagouts per player during the entirety of the tournament (this
includes spectating after a match is over).
4> Players that warp out of their arena will be given a warning for
the first offense, and then disqualified if it happens again.
5> In the event that two players get out at once, the person who got
out last wins the match (i.e. the person who's name appears second in
the arena messages).
6> If you are already invited to participate in the final tournament,
you will not be allowed to enter the remaining qualifying tournaments.
7> Matches in the qualifying tournaments will be given a 30 minute
timer, the person with the most deaths will be disqualified at the end
of the timer.
If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to post them; I'm flexible.
That's about it and I hope to see you turn up for the tournament of
all tournaments!
