        Mostley my lag is something like this

        CURRENT: 110 ms AVERAGE: 200 ms HIGH: 3200 ms S2C: 0.1=% C2S=1.4%

        that's not that bad huh and i have telenet (cable, fast internet) and yet if I play SS I hear people saying: hey duelpasta you spike like hell; hey pasta do someting about lag; hey pasta you have a nice lag;
        help: (how do i shot) (Public 0): how do i travel diagonally? i only have up, down, left and right keys.

          Going from 110 to 300 on average is horrible lag, on your part. You also have horrid ploss. You should fix that.

I'm am seeing more and more lag being generated than ever before. Hell, Pirates had no lag before beginning of TWL season, and now look at them. If you had this type of lock in place, at least I could live with the fact that some ppl just have crappy connections and can't do anything about it. But that's gotta be only 10% of the lag that's going on today. I'm sick and tired of this shit. It totally ruins all the fun in TW and something needs to be done about it.
            Hell if you call 4 lagouts in 16 games laggy yea we are really laggy also we got new ppl in the squad that wasnt in before twl

              These aren't true at all. First off it wouldn't increse the specs to run the game at all. Being constantly updated isn't a problem. And changing the name of the executable woudln't matter at all.

              The reason why?

              Every program has a Classname and built into every windows (98 and up I suppose) has a function built in, called "FindWindowA".

              Code:
              VB6: Public Declare Function FindWindow Lib "user32" Alias "FindWindowA" (ByVal lpClassName As String, ByVal lpWindowName As String) As Long
              Using this function you can easily determine if a Window is open. For instance if you wanted to see if Continuum was open you'd do something like:

              Code:
              Dim menuclass As Long
              menuclass = FindWindow("menuclass", vbNullString)

              If menuclass <> 0 Then
                  MsgBox "Continuum is Open!"
              Else
                  MsgBox "Continuum is Closed!"
              End If
              Anyhow, that's how you can tell if something is open or not, in Visual Basic. Have fun

                yeah, I spike allot, but I can't do anything about that, dunno why. If I play continuum the only thing I run is probably 1 IE and Continuum itself and MSN and a few Antivirusprograms and that's it
