Can you explain the leadup to either of these? I looked at them but can't piece together what's going on.
"You're a gentleman," they used to say to him. "You shouldn't have gone murdering people with a hatchet; that's no occupation for a gentleman."

This is the one I remember best, so I'll try to describe it.

With the clock about to run out, everyone was out except Singer and daeva - they're both on 8 deaths. So this is a tie.

coupe and John Gibson were not still in the game and hadn't been for several minutes.
If they subbed for each other then their deaths equal 10 (can you check if they subbed?).
If they both just left, they should have timed out and their deaths set to 10.

          The clock ran out.
The game should have seen that both teams had 2 deaths remaining and added extra time.
Instead, the game declared a 38-48 result. Chat was full of "wtf" so everyone seemed to agree this result was wrong.

I can explain this one. I was in the process of taking a dump on freq 1 and I had to go do something. It was 4v4, and I left and they subbed in owl. The other freq added sulla which I think registered the bot from 4v4 to 5v5, which I think is partly the issue in the other game and is registering those weird scores in stead of having the game start from 10-10 4v4 it got changed to 5v5 and then speccing.
            1:waven> u challenge
1:waven> if i challenge it looks too scary

Confirmed that subbed players were being counted as players toward the final total player count. So for the first game, when you were playing 4v4 and one subbed out, you'd be considered 5v4. If a team is below the max players allowed for a game, 10 is added to their deaths for each player "missing." So the non-sub team received an extra 10 deaths. Meanwhile, score is counted not as kills made, but deaths of the other team, so 10 is added to the score of the sub team.

For the second case it's roughly the same. With the sub, freq 0 was counted as having 5 players. Freq 1 also had 5 players. So it was just based on raw death count. Freq 0 had 40 deaths, freq 1 had 41. So freq 0 wins with a score of 41, even though freq 1 eliminated everyone on freq 0.

So I've taken subbed players out of the count for the score.

Here's a question, though: with the fix, if the second game were replayed, things get odd. Freq 0 will be allowed 40 deaths, and freq 1 will be allowed 50, because they added another player. More generally, there don't seem to be any rules against just adding a player at any time, so long as it's below 5. And if you do, and the enemy team can't find someone to add, it's nothing but a boon to your team, because you get an automatic 10 added to your score, and they get at MOST 10 added to their score (if they manage to eliminate the 5th player). Is this good as it is, or should it be handled some other way?

Thanks for giving details on these, guys. Also, Rab, in response to your question about seeing subs, right now you can see them on the site, but not on the in-game scoreboard. I'll add that, though.
