The fact is that in such matters, only a handful of people can actually DO something about it. Posting about it here on these forums for everyone to discuss only brings it to the attention to hundreds of people who A) can't do a thing anyway, B) don't know enough information about what actually happened or any other circumstances (e.g. how long the situation took, the exact words people said, or in this case, whether or not there were any pre-existing warnings), C) tell him he was wrong, though there are a few who will agree with him, but most of those people agree with the complaint only because they too had a complaint and will use this opportunity to bring them up again even though it had been ruled that they were wrong in the first place.

Add the fact that most of these threads are written in such an immature fashion that most people reading them would think: "yeah, I can picture him as being the type of person to actually do what he was accused of, and I'm glad he's banned".

I mean, if people think they should put their complaints here instead of the e-mail because staff will ignore the e-mail, then what makes them think that staff won't ignore the post just as much? After all, it's in the job description for them to be reviewing the complaints e-mail. There's nothing forcing them to come to these forums and read posts here.

I suggested this in an earlier, similar thread, and I think it might be something staff can do to make the public feel better. Whenever staff receives a complaint from a player, and staff then makes a decision about it (whether in favour of the player or against) they should THEN post the result for the public to see. That way people can see that something was done and what the results were. Just post them up in a new forum, and make them closed to replies. This lets people know that, when things are put through the proper process, they get addressed.

You know sometimes I think they should just stick you on staff chat and whenever they have a problem, just ask you for the solution.

Just so you know, in Britain, cracker is not considered a racist term in any context. Calling someone a cracker is the same as calling them a wierdo or calling them funny.

Emails sent to complaints email are taken seriously. I am sure that noone has that email address forwarded to the junk mail folder. If you have any problems and concerns that I could help you, you can email me at pureluck@trenchwars.org or in the game as Pure_Luck. Thanks

If you refer to someone as a cracker, then your ass is violating this zone's racism policies and such actions will not be tolerated. I honestly don't care if the Queen runs around calling herself a cracker all day long, doesn't make it excusable, and I'd ban her old ass too if she stepped foot in this zone.

Hmm, well. Push, your saying that its "all in context". Well, for instantance; You are an american. So, if i called you a cracker, then thatd be racist, and warn/ban. Well, say if I said to Mantra-Slider or bram or who ever, "Hey cracker whats going on?". Is that a bannable offence? Because, you know they are british, and it is in context in that way that they are british. I'm just curious...
                        the price is right, bitch.

Your background's only part of what makes up "context". If, for example, you and Mantra had a history of arguing with each other and you've made other insulting comments about him being white in the past, then that would be wrong, regardless of whether you're American or not. You cannot, for example, do this, and then claim innocence because you're not American and therefore "exempt".

I NEED CLARIFICATION????

Also i need something else to be clarified why it is illegal to have a name such as cracker since, 1. it is a food, 2. if it was bad it would have been blocked by ssc, 3.Also i just checked the penguin english dictionary, Cracker:...4.Brit,informal something or somebody exceptional.

So according to no.3 i could call anyone a cracker and would not be being racist atall since for looking that up and i am british I AM A CRACKER.
You're an idiot. Shut up and follow the rules. God people like you just piss me off. All you're doing is posting SOMETHING in TW Staff forum hoping a mod will look over it and think you did something good, no matter how stupid it is or how much bullshit is in it. No one cares. Don't use the stupid name Cracker. End of discussion. And as for all that crap about whoever the hell he was: how about learning some understandable English? Please? Thanks.

                            Get some common sense.
