Name Tags - On or Off?

When playing there are three modes regarding name tags that I'm aware of:

- All names shown

- Only other players names shown (Everyone but you!)

- No names shown

I've been messing around with them recently and I can't decide if I like all names shown or all but mine shown most... I don't like none shown!

Which do you use? :eek:

All shown, you've gotta know who your killing or you might aswell be playing a 1player game.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes all off just for fun, even in DD's (and radar too..).

Seeing my tag is annoying, but I do have it set to see everyone else's.

EDIT: I play without the ping shown unless I'm interested in how bad a player is lagging so I can get an idea of how to kill him.

All Off is just plain stupid, because you cant tell who is who.

Everyone On but you is what I use, because my name tag is a distraction to my playing.

Everyone On is the best strategical one to use, because some players aim for the other player's names, and you can see how they are aiming at you.

I play with all on, but I might give all on except for mine a try.

If I play with all off it's like my own decoys all shooting at me.

I play with all on, although I do have kill msgs turned off, and sometimes enter/leave messages.

I play with all shown, as well as ping shown, that way I can run away from the 200+ laggots

Ohhh, that's why all newbs are shooting at everything that moves: they don't know how to put name tags on.

when I get bored in pub I do no radar no tags. Very funny.

half the time I play with all nametags shown, and the other half I play without my name tag. It all really depends on if I forget to hold shift when doing my Shift+F3 macro. I always have show user ping on, So I can do the samething as Hero*.

I try playing pub with no nametags once in a while, but its hard because 75% of the time Im looking at the radar to see whose who.
