Trolling in the Starlight ---
In the quiet hush of snow-kissed nights, When carolers sing and hearths blaze bright, A tale unfolds of mischief’s twisted plight, Where trolls emerge from shadows, seeking flight.
They dance upon the frozen eaves, Their laughter echoing through moonlit leaves, Yet their jests are barbs, their mirth deceives, For beneath it all, a darker truth conceives.
The yuletide spirit, warm and kind, Clashes with their venomous design, As they weave their webs of malice, unrefined, Leaving scars on players hearts that once aligned.
“Jingle all the way,” they mock, Their icy words a bitter shock, Tearing at the fabric of SubSpace's flock, There are teamkillers now our Mods won't block.
But listen closely, for the bells still chime, A love persists with a transcending rhyme, In the eyes of children, hope sublime, Where trolls retreat, defeated by time.
For kindness blooms like holly wreaths, And this cruelty freezes in the frost beneath, In this season of grace, let us bequeath, A world where trolling finds no place.
So raise your voice, sing carols true, And let compassion guide all that you do, For in unity, we find strength anew, And let the trolls dissolve when love breaks through.
May this poem remind us that kindness and empathy are the true gifts we can share during the holiday season and to make Trench Wars whole once again.
