Which player is better? The guy who goes 20-10 on the losing team or the guy who goes 10-9 on the winning team? Is it about the name on the back of the jersey? Or is it about the name on the front? Are players typically here to prove themselves or to build each other up? Which is more honorable? And does that even matter? Go.

the guy who teams and goes 10-9 and wins the game is more valuable than a selfish guy who goes 20-10, dies out quickly and leaves his teammates to be slaughtered. at the end of the game, all that matters is whether or not your team got the 50 kills (on and having fun too... go paladen!, jk guys.. dont rip me apart KJW)...

Probably the guy with 20-10 played well and his team-mates played poorly, thus making them lose the game.
At the end of the day, the goal is to win. Whether this takes solo skills or teaming, it doesn't matter. Whatever it takes. I think we are talking about the balance between two factors:
1. How well someone supports their team
2. How many kills that person got
#1 is an intangible factor therefore hard to quantify and produce logical discussion. Sometimes it is blatantly obvious when someone is hurting the team strategy-wise but a lot of the time it isn't, which produces fodder for discussive types.

I love fodder!
Nockm summed it up as best as I could though, so this discussive type doesn't have anything to add to the discussion. Well, I suppose I'm adding to the discussion by backing up my man Nockm, but that only sort of counts.jasonofabitch loves!!!!

If 20-10 guy is on a team with 4 other people doing 5-10's and under I'd be pretty confident to make a little bet saying that that guy was running and hiding behind teammates and letting them serve as decoys.
If everyone in the team did 7-4's instead, then all props to 20-10 guy.
In a 5v5 team game it generally doesn't pay off to be one with least deaths and then have to play 4v1 in the end (unless you're playing TWLD vs Diso) or to be guy with tons of kills and first out.Originally posted by DislikedHowever, I have a bigger problem, being an atheist for 9 years, most of it during my teenage years I've become a little addicted to masterbation. IMHO the 20-10 guy. There are various benefits to having 20 kills, such as the fact that even if he dies out early, he will have killed enough that enemies should be at very high deaths (i.e. 8, 9) and unless the 20-10 guy is suiciding, an enemy player should die out first.
Also, it's kinda hard to get 20 kills even on a losing team. Even if the rec is obtained through selfish play, it still shows some degree of talent.
On the other hand, US basketball is sucking it up, so the team overall is more important, but that doesn't mean the guy with 20 kills doesn't team.- k2

I agree, the guy with 20 kills might try to team but the 4 other guys just dont get it. I dont know which one is more important, but if u get 20 kills thats almost 1/2 the kills u need to win (in 5v5) so i think he did what he had to do, and like k2 said the enemy players should have atleast 1 guy @ 8 or 9, and most likely has 2. Meaning the 20-10 guy out "early" wouldnt hurt to bad.
Although if a guy with 10-9 wins then he is doin something right, or his team is. Most likly if he's 10-9 someone else on his team was mvp and had a 15+ kills game, and probably was out just as quick as the 20 kill guy except his team won it for him.
