New Layout

That layout is terrible, id prefer the one we had prior to this. The banner is totally cheese, and the lightning is right out of photoshop xeno filters, the "TRENCH WARS" text looks like ass, this isnt 1990, get something decent together. Moreover, the ships on the right are poor quality and dont even look good. The banner is sub-par, the wb is so pixelated, but the terr is ncei and glossy. Positives? Good content, the layout shape has merit, just needs a major face lift
Solutions?
have a open forum for people to submit layout proposals, and whoever makes the best proposal gets to work on the site, whether in the company of the current designer or by themselves.

I do admit I liked the Banner with the fighters. That warbird makes me edgy every time I see it.
The rest is great.
I like the way you guys co-ordinated the time zones. That was brilliant.

The Time zones are very handy to me to compare it, and its a very nice feature added.

That website is freaking amazing who cares if the lightning is "done by a common photoshop filter" or whatever. It looks great, and the only person who would care is someone who spends a lot of time in photoshop. The time zones make it feel like I'm in British Intelligence HQ and I'm waiting on the TWD countdown or something. Anyways it's cool- keep up the good work Flabin, Myth, Spam, 2Drag, PUSHER and crew
