Due, in all seriousness, ALF isn't good at basing. Quirion has people who've been only playing for months, its not a huge accomplishment to beat them.

SM it's a good idea to go to Quirion. It took me 2 days to get in base as a spider, got a record of 6-59 or something.. >.<

couple things. first, I play pub exclusively. purepub if there's room, regular if there isn't. I don't play in ?go base, and I certainly don't play in leagues. why? people like this:

dude quirion sucks. we ALF (wb's) beat there asses so ez in bd. and we know sh!t about bding.

competition like that is retarded and, imho, sucks all the fun out of the game. my squad is based on the fact that we're all friends. skill, recs, how often we play.. none of that matters. much like you said in the original post, I too would rather just sit down and play for half an hour, rather than any of these organized, scheduled league matches or whatever. anyways, my suggestion comes just from what I've heard and seen.. if you want to join a "good" squad, become a regular in ?go base, and you'll get noticed by someone eventually. or, what happened to me.. I played obsessively for a few days after a reset, and someone eventually approached me to join Quirion. I'm assuming it had something to do with the high score shield by my name.

It was probably of large number of deaths or kills compared to other players -> u were active
Ratio or deaths/kills didnt matter
