Hi gentlemen. This, of course, isn't a big deal -- graphics mods have been around for a very lonnng time. However, some people don't know how to use them, or more often, can't find them. My goal is to make such aids more accessible. It may help some new players, and probably will not do much for others.

No, it doesn't aim for you; no, it doesn't improve your skill. Therefore, the argument that it is something vile and loathsome is silly.

No, it doesn't account for shots while moving. It's only useful for certain situations. Obviously it won't help much in a DD if you use it actively, trying to line up each shot (that's a waste of time). It's more of a passive helper.

It does seem to help you be a more accurate sniper.

If anything, this levels the playing field between 1-weekers and those who have been playing 8 years (and are no longer any good, like myself). It's nothing spectacular, so don't bother going through the motions of getting in a tissy fit about n00bs needing aimers, being ez $$, or whatever hip and cool bullshit you might think to come up with. It's the same thing you've seen for the last few years, but just packaged and available to the masses.

That's the paladen shipset I believe.. I remember Zengrath used it. I used it for about 4 months too actually. I have to say It was pretty cool and annoying at the same time. It did help with aim though.

I modded my turret so it was a brighter red and put a line so it was easier to see where I was shooting with an LT or anything else.

I think that it may have an adverse effect on newer people Qan because they'll aim to get the ship on t he dot, and shoot. They won't hit much because 9 times out of 10 both ships are moving.

The spiders definitely need more rotations. There are certain angles that it cant shoot and i always take advantage of those to pull a shot on them :grin:

No, it only tells the game what images to use for each angle of turning. If you added more your ship would end up as a big graphic mess of pieces of a ship.
