you guys had something really cool going on here with the radio broadcasting.. it seemed like we had the support of the higher-ups, it seemed like everything was being put in place... and then all of a sudden, the audience wasn't there or hardly... I didn't mind hosting to at least 5 people, but I wasn't too impressed when I had literally taken hours to put together a show and had no one but few show up for it.. it pissed me off so I said fuck it and quit hosting, now my mics broke and I can't even record a good damn song, but someone here needs to save your radio in a new york minute because its a great median, ya'll don't even know how great this is.. but meh your always going to have people with different tastes in music, I myself.. I wouldn't listen to a host if he was playing everything I hear on the radio already... unless he had a great personality on the radio and did more talking then music playing.. either way this is sad to see, and whir bro, I feel for ya!

might make opportunists happy though, viva la underground !

Radio has always been crap, the current hosts crap apart from when radio in TW was a newly formed concept. Then all the kids had to spoil it by running around wanting to get some crappy status by doing the radio as a chore to look cool to try and get further into the staff of TW.

I have no clue who your talking about, if I wanted staff I would have done it when I was younger and had some time on my hands, I hosted radio because of my love for music, I was running a radio show privately before I even joined up with radio, I doubt you even gave the shit a chance

yeah i really doubt getting on radio will help u get to staff or even make u look cool. to me, you actually get ridiculed if you suck on radio, (if u look at half these posts). and thats why radio is closing down. not enough support.
remember, people spend time to host radio for nothing other than the fact of trying to please the listeners. radio hosts get nothing for hosting except being able to communicate to others through another medium. we dont get paid, we dont get fame and we definetely dont get any rewards. we're jus trying to help out the community but the love is not there so many hosts have strayed away.

Well I have listened to other zones radios and they were small so it was cool when you requested something and they played it. So I tried listening to TW Radio...I couldn't even connect! The piece of shit wouldn't let me connect when I clicked on the link someone said that it was because the link was wrong. MAYBE just MAYBE there would be more listeners if your link wasn't so retarded because I remember when SSZ hosted a radio session and there was 5 people there. Tw has what? 5 times the ammount of people from SSZ and all they could choke up was 5 people as well. Make Radio easier to use!

Where im from all thats on the radio is fucking franz ferdinand some shitty girl whos 13 years old and rap... Ive NEVER heard weezer on the radio since buddy holy... and when i say dave matthews i mean stuff like 'Tripping billies' or '#41' which im positive does not get played on the radio.. and i doubt for a second soco ameretto lime by Brand new was played on the radio.. maybe The quiet things no one ever knows.. but that's not what i play.

I guess I have no right to say anything about radio but there was nothing done to improve it. Oh no, wait there was. They hired some poor people, and made an arena and talked about things they could do.

Its a shame that it had to end.

One of the reasons I stopped hosting was that I only got 4 or so listeners. Talk about lack of motivations. If some of the upper TW staff had listened to the host's pleas, well then maybe we(I) would have had some listeners and carried on doing it.

And to follow up about Junka's post about that freakin' zone message thing. That was really annoying, I even sent a ?message to DoCk> about it and pmed him about it and he never even replied. What a lazy ass.
