Cash dueling tournaments have been held in Subspace before. A few years ago, a famous SVS player named Garcon had a cash dueling tournament. I believe the winner (Rage) got $100 USD while the 2nd place guy (Jinxi) got a $50 gamepad shipped to him.

Just from subtle contextual clues concerning how this guy presents and handles himself I can tell he has good intention.

I do however, find it amusing how he's managed to inadvertly hit the nerve of many thus far, and upon being flamed, has casually steamrolled over everyone who has attempted attacks on him.
