Lag Limit problems

I'll Start of by say'ing the new lag limits is stupid. I kno people who have BoradBand and roadrunner that wer'nt able to play bc of it....
i myself Have Dial-up.. but thats why play this and the lag limits make it so i cant.... if i had a good connection i wouldnt be playing a 2d game

well on to what i really was gunna say

I normally never auto matically lag out in Tw but w/ the lag Limits all i have to do is spike to 250ms and i get specced.also after i lag out for the first time i will be fine , but than i will kill sum1 and i will get specced as soon as i kill them.. it will happens every time.I'm not asking u to get rid of lag limits, but atleast raise it a bit so if u spike a lil u dont geting fucking specc'ed.. thats stupid. I think its rediculous how like i said be4 u can have Road Runner and get spec in a 2D dame thats bull shit...

there really is a valid point here. when the server was in finland, i had dialup and subspace was the only fun game i could play, even though my ping was always 330. i now have adsl with 40 ms, but i think that we should all really pay attention to what's being asked here. he's right... this is 2d spaceships, not a counterstrike tournament with a cash prize. lagging out in trench wars ruins the experience... try to make it more fun for everyone

Yes its a 2D game and dialups should be quite welcome to it

did you optimize your dialup? you have to have the right windows settings so that packet sizes and transmission are as such that is best suited for dialup. download the 30 trial of system mechanic and use it, its a one time setting change that will stay with you. while your at it, you can clean out your registry and stuff

I optimized my dial up settings useing innit strings. Its suprising how one small line can knock about 30 ms from your ping and keep it within a 20 radius. I used to lag a constant 300.

Then when i get broadband and I connected up straight too the box, I would spike every 5 minutes too about 250. I think the phone line back in my village is just really crap and made of wood. Is that enough to be specced in the new settings?

Beacause the lagout limit is so low could u atleast get rid of u losing a kill.. thats Bs that if u spike a lil u could lose a dd... 1 kill is alot in a close dd

Ok i understand haveing a lag report in the DD area for TWL but have it only for TWL i can't play a dd game now because of it. I my self have never played TWL because i lag and it is not fair make it higher then 370ms to like 500 then a dial up can play if lagging to much will get specced then but something has to be done about.

in so many basing games you see players charge through rows of mines and survive due to their lag..
